La-Clampete Bike Tours

'La Clampete' Bike tours is a small family run business. Our tour guides will take you on an unforgettable journey through the idyllic countryside. Our tours are set to include something for everyone.

Your holiday will start in Dover, where the group will meet and your Guides for the journey will be waiting for you.

An early morning crossing is essential for the long day ahead as 500 miles need to be covered to get to 'la Clampete'. Each day of the tour you will be riding some of the best roads in Europe and spending time in places of interest such as the Dordogne Gorges, Cascades des Gimel, Rocamadour, Bordeaux, Chateaux and lakes galore!

 

Tour dates for 2008:

  • August 8th-16th
Tour package includes:
Ferry crossings,
Breakfast and evening meals,
Shower and toilet facilities,
Laundry Facilities,
Safe luggage storage on site,
Daily guided tours inc. to and
from Dover.
All you need is:
Breakdown cover,
Fuel money,
Spending money,
Toll road money,
Passport,
Documents for bike (legal requirement in France),
Clothes.

Prices for 2008 tours are:

Bike and one rider £495
Bike and two riders £795

Bookings must be made a minimum of 6 weeks before departure date and paid for in full no later then 4 weeks before departure. All individuals must carry personal identification and documentation for motorcycles as required by French law. Motorcycles must also carry spare bulbs and be covered by relevant insurance and breakdown cover. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to other 'la clampete' tours in 2008. The management reserve the right to cancel any tours if this was to happen a full refund would be given.
